About Us - Cast Iron Kitchen’s Story

The owner of this restaurant is Mr. Josh Petty. He grew up in a family that enjoyed cooking. He became passionate about food from his mother and grandmother. 

Many dishes that appear in this restaurant come from old family recipes. Mr. Josh re-created these dishes with his twist. This eatery sources most of its products from farms throughout North Carolina. 

In this restaurant, seasonal ingredients are also prioritized whenever possible. In addition, the eatery built its relationships with the local farmers. So, the menus are always fresh, consistent, and changing.

This restaurant has a huge menu for its customers. You can start with the ‘Southern breakfast dish. This dish tastes amazing and is made of:

This restaurant’s service is fantastic. The staff here is top-notch, courteous, and friendly. They're always busy, so call ahead to get on the list. On weekends, the restaurant generally remains packed. Still, the restaurant tries to give the best service to customers.
