Airlie Gardens

Picnics are a great way to spend a day, whether you are out with family, friends, or your special person. Picnics also allow you to work around your budget. You can decide on the types of eats and drinks to take with you.

Airlie Gardens provides the perfect picnic spot. Their entire garden is beautiful beyond words and needs to be seen to be appreciated. Besides working around your budget, you can also structure it and plan it out where you have set things to do.

For example, a romantic picnic with your partner could be a whole day event. The morning could be coffee from a flask you packed with some sandwiches. After breakfast, you could take a romantic walk around Airlie Gardens, which takes 1.5 hours. After such a calming walk and looking at all the scenery, you can have a light picnic lunch. How about some crackers and sour cream dip from the cooler? The rest of the time can be spent enjoying each other’s company.

If this sounds lovely to you, then head on over to 300 Airlie Rd, Wilmington, NC, and spend a day at Airlie Gardens.

After getting accepted to ECU, I started looking for things to do in and around Greenville, NC. However, my searches kept taking me to places in South Carolina! There must be things to do around ECU, so I started asking other students. They kept telling me to graduate and move away! This inspired me to begin exploring eastern North Carolina and build this website as a showcase of the places to go, sights to see, and things to do all over eastern NC. I have fallen in love with this region and started taking up roots here. After graduating, I didn't move away - I bought a house here and continue to explore eastern North Carolina.
