Lions Water Adventure

Lions Water Adventure is a beautiful water park located in the Kinston Community Center. A water wonderland perfect for family adventures, chilled hangout sessions with friends and even business retreats. Lions Water Adventure caters for everyone.

The water park features:

  • A 550-feet long lazy river that can be enjoyed solo or with a partner.
  • A 32-foot tall water tower with a choice of 3 water slides.
  • A 5000 square foot kiddie pool loaded with water sprays, fountains, a water dump bucket and a slide.
  • Swimba’s Canteen, an eatery dishing out snacks, ice cream, grilled food and soft drinks.
  • A large picnic area to cater for corporate retreats and family gatherings.

With largely positive reviews complimenting the “friendly staff” and “reasonable prices”, imagine ticket sales to be high and season passes to be popular.

Lions Water Adventure also offers special Party Packages. These are perfect for those hoping to celebrate a special day by splashing away! The “Splash Party” package is offered for a starting price of $225 (This price will increase with add-ons).

Safety and Hygiene Concerns

With COVID-19 still around, sanitation has become very important in all businesses and our everyday lives. Lions Water Park knows this and has partnered with Dave’s Cleaning Service – a local small business – to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their park.

This should bring a sense of assurance and safety to all those wanting to have some fun in the sun. While the park is not operating at full capacity yet, masks are no longer a requirement per the CDC’s update.

After getting accepted to ECU, I started looking for things to do in and around Greenville, NC. However, my searches kept taking me to places in South Carolina! There must be things to do around ECU, so I started asking other students. They kept telling me to graduate and move away! This inspired me to begin exploring eastern North Carolina and build this website as a showcase of the places to go, sights to see, and things to do all over eastern NC. I have fallen in love with this region and started taking up roots here. After graduating, I didn't move away - I bought a house here and continue to explore eastern North Carolina.
