Humor and vulnerability are essential, and ice skating provides opportunities for both. You can relax and just take in your surroundings, or you can choose to talk. There will need to be a lot of hand-holding and collaboration to stay together on the ice. It is seen as more of a slow romantic dance. However, being in sync with your partner will help a lot!

Goldsboro

Paramount Theater

A significant historical site is Goldsboro's Paramount Theater. For a very long time, it entertained both residents and tourists. The theater first opened its doors in 1930. It has since undergone restoration to return to its former Art Deco splendor. One of the few remaining theaters of its kind in North Carolina is The Paramount. Even today, people still use it as a movie theater and event space.

When looking for evening activity for Valentine’s day, take a look at the Paramount Theater. You might watch a classic film or attend a live performance by regional or nearby musicians. Cape Fear River Boats

A variety of picturesque water tours are available from Wilmington's historic downtown. This is thanks to Cape Fear River Boats. They provide daily one-hour scenic tours during which their knowledgeable captains tell stories. Stories about Wilmington's past and present as they sail along the Cape Fear River. The USS Battleship and downtown Wilmington's murals are among the places to visit.

Take a 1.5-hour Saturday sunset cruise on the river on our newest Henrietta! There will be light snacks and the on-board bar open. The sunset cruise is perfect to enjoy Wilmington's downtown sights with your Valentine. If you haven't already, stop by and see the new boat. Both locals and guests are welcome!
