The Airborne & Special Operations Museum was established in August 2000. Entry is completely free to this Museum. But, if visitors want to see the simulator, visitors will have to pay a small fee.
The heritage and culture of the US Army Airborne and ‘SOF’ is documented and displayed here. ‘SOF’ stands for the Special Operation Forces of the USA. On special occasions like July 4th, the museum arranges special events.

The heroic actions of the Airborne and SOF during World War II are displayed to visitors. As visitors walk through the Museum, they are encircled by pictures of World War II.
The museum also has video displays for visitors. These video displays show the Paratrooper and SOF soldiers' actions during the war.

The simulator is among the best kid-friendly attractions in the Museum. The simulator shows some of the operations that the US army has gone through.
Visitors can also do a bit of shopping in this museum. It sells apparel like hats, jerseys, jackets, shirts, etc. Also, it also sells gifts for the kids as well.
The best part of this museum is it's very realistic and educational for both adults and kids. Overall, this is an amazing place to learn history.

Cape Fear Botanical garden has more than 2000 varieties of plants. It's a very nice place to walk around. The nature trails are beautiful and well kept. The signage along the refreshing walking trails tells the visitors about the area.
This garden is also a great place for exercise, meditation, and more such things. For kid-friendly attractions, it has a children's garden. The gift shop was also great and had a variety of items like gardening gardens, toys for children, etc.

This museum is one of the best places to learn about the history of Fayetteville city. It is located in a historic railway station building. It has vintage cars, a replica of the old gas station, and more such displays. The museum has a great collection of artifacts.

After getting accepted to ECU, I started looking for things to do in and around Greenville, NC. However, my searches kept taking me to places in South Carolina! There must be things to do around ECU, so I started asking other students. They kept telling me to graduate and move away! This inspired me to begin exploring eastern North Carolina and build this website as a showcase of the places to go, sights to see, and things to do all over eastern NC. I have fallen in love with this region and started taking up roots here. After graduating, I didn't move away - I bought a house here and continue to explore eastern North Carolina.
