The Festival of Lights' Hayride & Dinner is like dessert for breakfast! You don’t get the opportunity often, but when you do, it’s fantastic!
The Hayride itself is mesmerising. Sitting on bales while a horse pulls the cart takes you back to simpler times. It also makes you feel as if you’re in a magical world surrounded by beautiful lights. Even though the Hayride is only 30 minutes long, it draws in people from all around. The Ho! Ho! Christmas Show. The Ho! Ho! Christmas Show combines comedy with Christmas songs. It then turns it into a festive variety show. It is hosted at Mike’s Farm at 1600 Haw Branch Road, Beulaville.
Mike’s Farm is famous for its buffet style, all you can eat dinners. So there was no way this event would not start with that! After a delicious dinner is the main event. The Ho! Ho! Christmas Show! For the next hour, you are set up in an intimate space as you enjoy the main event. After the main event, you may enjoy a magical hayride. Don’t worry, you won’t pay extra, your ticket includes it. After getting accepted to ECU, I started looking for things to do in and around Greenville, NC. However, my searches kept taking me to places in South Carolina! There must be things to do around ECU, so I started asking other students. They kept telling me to graduate and move away! This inspired me to begin exploring eastern North Carolina and build this website as a showcase of the places to go, sights to see, and things to do all over eastern NC. I have fallen in love with this region and started taking up roots here. After graduating, I didn't move away - I bought a house here and continue to explore eastern North Carolina.
