Choose a couple of sides that they’ve created from scratch. And take advantage of the many sauces and pickled vegetables that come with your meal. Enjoy the scene by sitting inside or outside on the covered patio.
Although you are free to order food to go, it tastes best when consumed immediately. Reserving room for dessert is a must. Right here at the restaurant, they are all handcrafted.
Every day for that day's service, they prepare all of the meals from scratch. You can be guaranteed that the food you're eating is fresh and not from yesterday. Without the aid of gas or electricity, their meats are smoked for hours on end over hardwood. They make just enough sides and sweets to go with the day's supply of meat, all from scratch. Every day they sell out! Coming early is recommended because food options soon run out. My recommendation will be to dine in, but that will depend on your schedule.
The entire cuisine is available à la carte. There are no pre-designed plates or combos. Half pounds are used while selling meat.

After getting accepted to ECU, I started looking for things to do in and around Greenville, NC. However, my searches kept taking me to places in South Carolina! There must be things to do around ECU, so I started asking other students. They kept telling me to graduate and move away! This inspired me to begin exploring eastern North Carolina and build this website as a showcase of the places to go, sights to see, and things to do all over eastern NC. I have fallen in love with this region and started taking up roots here. After graduating, I didn't move away - I bought a house here and continue to explore eastern North Carolina.
